There's this side of me that's pure expression. A feeling of needing to create in order to set free what's inside my being. It's this build up of creativity and the existence of a painting needs to come into being in order to quench the innermost part of who I am. I'm not making a work of art for the sake of it, but to take what's harboring inside and make it a visible piece of work for everyone to see. It's creation at it's finest. Showing these works to the public is definitely a vulnerable experience for me. I wasn't created with the fine tuned skill of expressing who I am verbally, so I speak through paintings. Where some artists enjoy the viewers eyes to move around the canvas, I love creating a single intense focal point, that'll move the viewer emotionally.
